The brim

Circular needle: 6mm or 10 U.S or 4 U.K
Cast on 58 stitches using your preferred method.

This will make an adult size hat.
Yarn is worsted weight and will be held double,
knit using two strands of yarn. The hat will knit up very quickly.
After casting on your
58 stitches place a stitch marker. Carefully check that your stitches are not twisted.
1st row: Knit to stitch marker
2nd row: Purl to stitch marker
3rd row: Knit to stitch marker
4th row: Purl to stitch marker
5th row: Knit to stitch marker
6th row: Purl to stitch marker
7th row: Knit to stitch marker
8th row: Purl to stitch marker
At this point in your knitting, pause and ask yourself if you like the length of the brim or if you would like it longer. If you are happy with the length, the brim is now complete. If you would like your brim a little longer, continue knitting one row and purling one row until you like what you see.

Remember: knitting is a feeling. If it feels right… it is.

Always finish your brim with a purl row.
Knitting notes: If you are interested, I purchased my mannequin at the dollar store. They are great when you want to take photos or show off your hat.
There is absolutely no rush to this KAL. Somedays we have time to knit, somedays we don’t. I will continue to post and you can knit whenever you want.
I am very confident that you will be pleased with our next reel and how quickly this hat will knit up.
