The hat

In our last reel we finished knitting the brim.

Now for the fun part, the remainder of the hat is knit stitch only.

You will have finished your last purl row of your brim. Next, remove the stitch marker and knit every row until the hat is the length you want.

Roll up the brim so you can see the hat take shape. It is so rewarding to see the hat, that you knit, on its way to completion. As you can see by my photos, it is best to try your hat on as you knit. If you don’t, you may think the hat is long enough but it may not be. Continue to knit and keep trying on your hat, until your head is completely covered by the hat. Remember to make sure it fits over your ears to keep you warm.
